Jerry Adams Inducted into Cattle Feeders Hall of Fame

BROKEN BOW, NEB. — For more than 50 years a central Nebraska cattleman has been making strides in the feeding industry with technology, innovation, and data. Jerry Adams of Adams Land & Cattle (ALCC) is being recognized for his commitment to the industry and will be inducted into the Cattle Feeders Hall of Fame. 

CattleQuants Wins Second Startup Challenge

MALVERN, ARK. – The Beef Alliance is excited to announce CattleQuants as the winner of the 2022 Beef Alliance Startup Challenge. An Ohio-based startup company, CattleQuants provides automated solutions for drone-based monitoring of cattle on feed. These services include head counting capabilities, weight estimation, feed bunk reading, and health monitoring.

Resilient Biotics wins first-ever Beef Alliance Startup Challenge

MANHATTAN, KAN. – Resilient Biotics, a North-Carolina-based startup company, has been named the winner of the 2021 Beef Alliance Startup Challenge.

The Beef Alliance is an organization of cattle feeding companies that represent approximately 25 percent of the fed cattle supply in the United States. Collectively, the Beef Alliance strives to drive positive change in the beef supply chain through enhanced animal stewardship and more transparent communication with value chain partners in order to foster long-term viability of the cattle feeding industry.

Through collaborative innovation, scientific exploration and value chain engagement, the Beef Alliance is committed to establishing and verifying the Five Pillars of feedlot practices, monitoring, acting on shared issues and challenges, conducting research, communicating and selectively collaborating with supply chain partners; and protecting access to responsible use of appropriate production technologies.
